Each year, the People & Parks Foundation Trustees will consider partnering a small number of projects that align with the Objects of our Trust Deed and help to bring our values and mission to life.

We develop community projects in partnership with local groups through assistance with funding applications, public donations and joint facilitation of community activities and events in the park.

Projects will include the encouragement and facilitation of:

• Activities and events at Parks to provide information and education on aspects of the natural environment
• More people to attend Parks and participate in the activities and events to build an awareness and appreciation of the natural environment
• Research and conservation activities at Parks
• Education on the natural environment found in Parks, generally and specifically in relation to one Park or Parks in a region
• Art within or of Parks
• Parks as a place for restoration of mental and physical health
• Other recreational activities that lead to or are in appreciation of the natural environment
