By linking community groups, business and school groups to environmental projects, locally and throughout Australia, we are increasing opportunities for all Australians to be educated in the importance of our natural environment, whilst conserving and rehabilitating our parklands.
It is through Green Connections, that we partner community groups that are developing like minded projects which enhance our capacity to deliver our mission and connect people with local parks. Green Connections is for people wanting to make a positive contribution to improving our natural environment for all to enjoy.
Green Connections creates volunteer opportunities through our CR (Corporate Responsibility) program that involves educating our volunteers on aspects of the environment whilst undertaking valuable habitat rehabilitation projects to enhance biodiversity, sustainability and stewardship in our parks. The program aims to improve people’s appreciation of nature and their wellbeing by engaging them in park experiences and in creating accessible, dynamic, natural areas.
