Putting  the fun and laughter back into the lives of socially disadvantaged children.

Variety Junior Ranger Camps are principally about taking underserviced kids away for a camping weekend so they can experience the joys of nature in a controlled and safe environment.

Junior Ranger Camps have had outstanding success in improving the quality of life and general well being of these children. It has achieved this by providing, often for the first time, a bush experience, freedom to walk along a beach or bush track and to have a close encounter with wildlife. It can touch their body and soul, restoring their belief in a better future.

These children need and deserve a break from their world. They are often the tangible result of many of the contemporary ills that beset our society; the breakdown of the family unit, unemployment and drug abuse.

The partner organisations for this exciting initiative are Variety and Parks Victoria.
