November 09 update
Tuesday, 17 November 2009 08:07

More and more families are looking to access Caitlin's Retreat – particularly over the holiday season.

“This is an amazing facility and what you are doing to assist families who need a break is incredible” said one mum of a child with Spina bifida, from a small township near Kinglake, who is still waiting for their home to be rebuilt after the Black Saturday fires.

Works and program development at the retreat are continuing with thanks to great supporters such as Helen Macpherson Smith Trust and Tattersalls George Adams Foundation. The Helen Macpherson Smith Trust generously donated $25,000 to the program which is being used to create a wide range of programs for visitors to the site which includes interaction with nature and understanding the farms activities.

We continue to attract great volunteer support to the site with just over 500 hours of work completed since July!  Everyone wants to return to assist with this great project.
