Our Board

People & Parks Foundation is governed by a Board that sets policy and strategic goals that guide the foundation's operations.

Message from the Chairman

As each of us develops an active and genuine curiosity about our environment and its value to our health, our wellbeing and our connection to local communities, it is gratifying to see the consolidation of the work by People & Parks Foundation; connecting people with parks.

Of particular importance is the role People & Parks plays in engaging non-traditional park users in outdoor activities through the facilitation of programs and engagement with our partners to make this happen. Partnerships in all forms will become increasingly important as we strive to achieve real impact in addressing social isolation, obesity and re-engaging people with nature.

The Board of People & Parks Foundation is committed over the next three years to projects which will make a difference to the lives of people through their connection with parks; leading to life changing behaviours and a willingness to engage in caring for and in creating accessible and dynamic natural environments.
